Part A — Website use
2) Using our Website
By using the Website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
You must not misuse the Website (including attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malware, excessive scraping, or disrupting the Website).
3) Website content and accuracy
We try to keep the Website accurate and up to date. However:
menus, prices, availability and promotions can change at any time;
photos are illustrative;
allergen and dietary information may change and should be confirmed with us directly.
4) Links to third-party services
The Website may contain links to third-party websites/services, including our online ordering provider. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or their processing of personal data.
5) Intellectual property
Website content (text, images, branding and layout) is owned by us or licensed to us. You may view/print pages for personal use only. You must not reproduce or commercially exploit our content without permission.
6) Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data. We use WPConsent to manage cookie choices. UK rules generally require consent for non-essential cookies.
7) Liability (Website)
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful (including for death/personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud).
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on Website content where you should have verified key details with us (for example, allergens or availability), or for downtime/technical issues outside our reasonable control.
Part B — Reservations
8) Reservation confirmations
A reservation is confirmed when you receive a confirmation (on-screen and/or by email/SMS depending on the reservation system).
9) Table holding time (15 minutes)
We hold reserved tables for 15 minutes from the booked time.
If you have not arrived and we have not heard from you within that time, we may release the table to other guests.
If you are running late, please call 01787 736 489 and we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee availability after the holding time.
10) Changes and cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your booking, please give as much notice as possible.
Deposits / no-show fees: Unless we clearly tell you otherwise at the time of booking, we do not charge deposits or no-show fees for standard reservations. If this policy changes, it will be clearly disclosed during the booking process and must be fair and transparent.
11) Special requests
We will try to meet reasonable requests (e.g., seating preferences), but they are not guaranteed.
12) Allergies and dietary requirements (important)
If you have an allergy, intolerance, or dietary requirement, please tell us when booking and also tell a member of staff when you arrive.
We take care, but our kitchen handles common allergens and we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment due to cross-contamination risk.
Part C — Online ordering (Delivery and Pickup)
13) Ordering provider
Online orders are placed using OrderOnline.co.uk (the “Order Platform”). When you place an order, you may be subject to the Order Platform’s own terms and privacy notices in addition to these Terms & Conditions.
14) Order acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when we confirm it and begin preparation (for example, when you receive an order confirmation/status update).
We may refuse an order and refund/void it where applicable if:
items are unavailable,
delivery is not possible to your address,
we suspect fraud, or
there is a technical or pricing error.
15) Prices and charges
Prices and any delivery/service charges are displayed on the Order Platform at checkout. Prices are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable.
16) Delivery and pickup times
Any times shown are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to busy periods, traffic, weather, and operational factors.
Pickup: please arrive at/after the advised time. If you are delayed, call us.
Delivery: please ensure the delivery address/contact details are correct and someone is available to receive the order.
17) Failed delivery due to customer unavailability/inaccurate details
If we cannot complete delivery because:
the address is incorrect,
we cannot contact you, or
no one is available to receive the order,
we may treat the delivery attempt as completed and the order may not be refundable, because food is made-to-order and perishable. We will act reasonably and try to resolve issues where practical.
18) Changes and cancellations (online orders)
Because food is prepared to order and can deteriorate quickly, the usual 14-day “change-of-mind” cancellation right generally does not apply to perishable/made-to-order goods and catering services for a specific time/date.
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us immediately on 01787 736 489. If preparation has not started, we may be able to help, but we cannot guarantee.
19) Problems with an order (missing/incorrect items, quality issues)
If something is wrong, please contact us as soon as possible and ideally within 1 hour of receiving your delivery or collecting your order.
Depending on the issue, we may offer:
a replacement item,
a partial refund, or
a full refund.
Your statutory rights apply: goods should be as described and of satisfactory quality, and services should be provided with reasonable care and within a reasonable time.
20) Allergy information for online orders
If you have allergies, do not rely solely on order notes. Please call us before ordering if you need confirmation about ingredients or cross-contamination risks.
Part D — General legal terms
21) Fairness and your rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your legal rights under UK consumer law. Terms must be fair, transparent and not misleading.
22) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the current version.
23) Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
